LOS ANGELES – Chaturbate has announced a new music contest with a total of 5K in cash prizes up for grabs.
According to COO Shirley Lara, “This contest is all about celebrating and honoring the musicians in our wider community. We are open to musicians at any level, and all styles and genres of music are welcome–from acoustic ballads to EDM, we want to hear it all!”
All Chaturbate community members are welcome to submit an original song that mentions Chaturbate. Winners will be announced on Oct. 1 – International Music Day.
The Grand Prize winner will be awarded $2,000.
The 2nd Place winner will be awarded $1,500.
The 3rd Place winner will be awarded $1,000.
The 4th Place winner will be awarded $500.
How to enter:
Record an original song that mentions Chaturbate (no parodies or covers).
Send an email to contest@chaturbate.com with either the MP3 file of your song attached, or a link to download.
One song per entry, but you may enter as many times as you like.
Entries will be accepted beginning at 12:00 p.m. PST on Monday, August 25th and ending at 11:59 p.m. PST on Tuesday, September 30th.
Lara added: “Music really brings people together–so even if you don’t enter, we hope you’ll enjoy listening. Feel free to also share your track with everyone on X – tag us and use #CBMusicContest.”
