Pineapple Support, the leading mental health nonprofit serving the adult industry, has announced Ocean Hanx as its newest brand ambassador. The creator and entrepreneur joins a select group of advocates dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and supporting performers throughout the adult entertainment community.
Hanx offers a unique perspective in his ambassador role, combining his experience as a content creator and founder of Plaiir, a collaboration platform designed specifically for creators. His deep understanding of the challenges related to performance pressure, visibility, and entrepreneurship within the adult industry aligns closely with Pineapple Support’s mission to foster safe and supportive environments for adult professionals.
“Success in the adult industry should never come at the expense of mental health,” Hanx stated. “Having faced these pressures myself, I recognize the need for spaces where creators can feel valued, supported, and heard. I’m honored to join Pineapple Support in promoting mental health awareness and fostering honest conversations around emotional wellbeing in our community.”
Pineapple Support was founded in 2018 by British performer Leya Tanit after a string of heartbreaking losses within the industry. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it has connected over 19,000 adult professionals with access to free or affordable therapy, counseling, and mental health support services.
“We’re excited to welcome Ocean Hanx to our ambassador team,” said Tanit. “His dual experience as a platform founder and creator gives him a distinctive voice. Ocean’s commitment to developing nurturing spaces for creators perfectly complements our goals, and we look forward to the meaningful discussions he will inspire.”
